VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - B.C. has created a new "tourist court" for any visitors who get into trouble with the law during the Games.

The "Olympic expedited court", as it is officially known, will allow foreigners to have their cases fast-tracked so they don't need to stick around long after the games are over.  Judges will be able to deal with crimes including simple assault, impaired driving and credit card fraud.

According to the Vancouver Sun, the goal is to get minor cases to court within two weeks of a criminal incident.

News1130 is the official radio station of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games and the only station in town where you can hear the opening ceremonies live.
