VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - They thought they had tickets to the games, turns out they don't. Nearly 200 people have been scammed out of their Olympic tickets.

E-Seats, a ticket broker out of Arizona, has informed 176 of its customers they won't be receiving roughly the 12,000 seats purchased through another U.S. based company. The Vancouver Sun reports the only excuse given is the tickets were lost in transition.

Kingsley Bailey with Vancouver Ticket and Tour Service says the games get closer, people are forced to become less choosy. "People are starting to gravitate that are not as popular and I'm starting to see a lot more interest in some of those other events.  Because what people are now asking is 'what can we do on this day?' and then we give them an idea and they go 'Hey, I can do that!'"

Bailey's best bet at this point is buying tickets for victory ceremonies.
