VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - A professional mountain biker from Whistler has lost his sponsorship after he was photographed participating in the Vancouver riot last week.

20-year old Alex Prochazka, or Alex Pro, was sponsored by Oakley, but the company pulled it's support after Pro's picture showed him wearing one of their t-shirts in front of a burning car.

Jennifer Miller is with the Whistler Question newspaper, and says Pro sent them a statement apologizing. "He's extremely sorry about the negative light that's been cast on Whistler and his family because of what he did. His parents have also sent us a statement that says they have had a lot of support from the community."

Miller says Oakley isn't Pro's only sponsors dropping him.
