VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - With four days to go, you can definitely notice a heightened security presence around town for the Olympics. More than 15,000 people have been hired to patrol Vancouver and Whistler for the games. The Integrated Security Unit says every single province is represented and it's supposed to be the best security a $900 million dollar budget will buy.

Vancouver Police will also have an extra 370 officers on the beat, most of them in the downtown core, along with 127 other devoted to controlling traffic.  Five reporting kiosks have also been set up to deal with everything from lost and found to serious crimes.
