LANGLEY (NEWS1130) - Yet another Christmas holiday deadly shooting in the Lower Mainland. A man was shot and killed outside a home in Langley on Boxing Day.

Sgt. Jennifer Pound with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says the call came in just after 9 p.m.  "The Langley RCMP responded to a shots fired call in the 9100 block of 207 St," she explains.

When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man dead in the driveway.

Pound adds the investigation is in the early stages and investigators are speaking with neighbours and potential witnesses about what they heard and saw.

She says the victim didn't have a criminal record and they haven't made any arrests.

This is the third shooting fatality since Christmas Eve south of the Fraser River. Bradley McPherson  was killed at a Christmas Eve house party. Alok Gupta was killed while working in a Surrey convenience store Christmas Day. A woman was shot in the chest at a home on King George Boulevard also on Christmas Day, but she is expected to survive.
