To celebrate Alzheimer Awareness Month, the Alzheimer Society of Calgary is hosting two free public events.
On Saturday, Dementia: Stories of Hope, A Community of Gathering will take place at Fort Calgary (750 9 Avenue SE) from 10 a.m. to noon. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
Calgarians can hear stories of hope and resilience told by people affected by dementia.
Then on January 18th, you can get the facts on dementia. You'll learn warning signs and fundamentals about the disease.
