UPDATE: Liyang Yang has been found.

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - Mounties in Richmond are searching for a senior.

Seventy-eight year old Liyang Yang left his home around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday near Ash Street and Saunders Road, and hasn't been seen since. His morning walk usually only takes 10 minutes.

Mounties are worried about Yang because it's believed he is experiencing early signs of dementia.

Yang only speaks Mandarin and is described as 5'4", 170 lbs with a medium build, short white hair & brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a thin brown cotton sweater, an orange & brown t-shirt underneath, dark pants & brown shoes. He doesn't usually use public transportation.

If you see him, you're asked to call Richmond RCMP at (604) 278-1212.
