Annual St. Patrick's Day run goes Saturday

You don't have to be first to win a prize!

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's time to put a little Irish Spring into your step.  Saturday Stanley Park is hosting the annual 'Saint Patrick's Day Run.'  The five-kilometre race kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Brockton Cricket Pavilion and donations are being accepted for Canadian Diabetes.

Those taking part can pick up their timing chip at the Denman location of "The Running Room" Friday between noon and 6 p.m.

You don't have to finish in first place to take home a prize.  Organizers are also awarding runners who wear the the best costumes.
