SURREY (NEWS1130) - A teen has been shot near 60th Avenue and 124th Street in Surrey near Boundary Park, and RCMP are looking for suspects. Mounties say the young man has serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital. They believe it was a targeted attack.

We spoke with people living in the neighborhood who tell us they're concerned. Allison Harvey explains even though she has heard it was a targeted hit, that doesn't make her feel any better. "Well you kind of tell yourself that 'targeted' shouldn't concern you too much, but on the other hand it does because it is so close to home. If you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, then it may directly affect you."

Mounties say two cars were involved but they can't confirm if it was a drive-by shooting or if it was gang related.
