VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - They have a deal. Hospital and long-term care workers have voted to accept a new two-year collective agreement with B.C.'s health employers.
The deal covers 48,000 workers and about 270 different jobs in areas including nursing, health records, information technology, diagnostic testing, pharmacy, housekeeping and payroll. The new agreement expires March 31, 2012.
