End of March brings end of Olympic road closures

Seawall re-opens in April

Erin Loxam Mar 24, 2010 07:42:46 AM

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Another indication the Olympics are really done as roads re-open and soon we'll be able to use all of the seawall again.

This week the area around the Athletes Village starts to open up again. While 1st avenue is closed until the end of the month, parts of Columbia through Quebec are clear.

Near B.C. and GM Place, Griffiths and Terry Fox way reopen Friday.

In a week we'll see False Creek ferries heading to Science World once more with water restrictions over and done.

As April rolls around, we'll have access to the all of the seawall again and any remaining closures will be lifted.

To see all the openings head here.
