Computer virus posing as Canada Post email

Verify tracking numbers at official website

NEWS1130 Staff Apr 26, 2010 01:54:32 AM
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Canada Post is warning its customers about an email that poses as a parcel-delivery notification. The email gives instructions to open the attachment to proceed with a delivery,  instead it likely contains a virus.

If a tracking number is in the email, check seperately at the mail carrier's website. If it comes up as 'invalid' then it is a fake and should be deleted.
