Third anniversary of the disappearance of Brian Braumberger

Family has not given up, believing someone out there knows something

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's an anniversary no parent wants to remember.  June 1st marks three years since 18 year old Brian Braumberger disappeared.

Three years later Brian's mom Janice says it doesn't get any easier. "We don't know where to look now, what to do, what direction... We just keep hoping that one day, somebody is going to phone and they're going to give us that piece of information that we need."

She feels it was like her son dropped off the face of the planet. "To me it's just amazing that three years has gone by and we still know nothing."

Brian's car was found in a parking lot in Burnaby with the keys inside and the lights still on.  He was last seen by a friend in New Westminster the night before.   Despite a $30,000 reward for information that leads to Brian she says the investigation is unbelievably quiet.  But she doesn't feel let down by the police, they simply have nothing to go on.

However she still believes someone knows something.
