RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - Police investigating racist graffiti in the Empire Centre parkade in Richmond have made a second arrest. Just last week, Mounties found dozens of comments and symbols written on the walls of the mall parkade, targeting several ethnic groups and the police.

A 16-year old was arrested on Thursday at Brighouse SkyTrain Station, a day after an 18-year-old man was picked up at the parkade where the offending comments were found. Both will make their first court appearance later this fall to face charges of mischief. Hate crime charges might also be considered.

A surveillance video showing the two suspects helped police make both arrests.

RCMP say both men are known to them, but more suspects might be involved.
