VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver Police are looking for the public's help in a sexual assault that happened Wednesday night.
Around 10 o'clock, a man attacked a 19-year-old woman walking downtown, pulling at her clothing and groping her before running away.
The victim didn't know her way around Vancouver and police say she ended up wandering disoriented most of the night. A Good Samaritan assisted the woman, giving her a sweat shirt. It was not until several hours later that the woman called the police.
Police are now looking for a 25 to 35 year-old dark skinned man, about 5'11'' tall with a muscular build and a brush cut.
Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the Good Samaritan is asked to contact police.
