Fire hazard forces closures of some trails in Richmond
Smoking also prohibited in certain areas

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) - Trails through the Richmond Nature Park, and along Shell Road, have been closed until further notice.
The City of Richmond says it's because of the extreme fire hazard in the area.
In addition, no smoking signs have been posted at other parks and trails, among them Terra Nova Park, Bath Slough Trails, and McDonald Beach.
