Paranormal investigators will spend the night

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's a big day for all things spooky, and the Vancouver Police Museum is taking advantage of it...by accident.

Executive Director Chris Mathieson is bringing in paranormal investigators to spend the night this Friday the 13th. "When we approached them about a month ago, we asked them if they'd be interested in doing an investigation here. We didn't pick [the date], it just happened that way. Just a strange coincidence."

Matheson describes his last five years at the museum as having 'unusual experiences.' "People that are sensitive to those sort of things walk in our front door and go 'oooh.' They know there's something going on right away."

It'll be about a week before the museum gets back the findings from the investigation. The museum was the home to Vancouver's morgue for 50 years. For more information on the museum, click here.
