VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver is about to get a little more 'maverick-y.'  Former Republican Vice-Presidential candidate Sarah Palin is coming for a visit!

She will be joining five other international speakers in Vancouver at an event organized by the Bon Mot Book Club.

However, if you want to see the author of Going Rogue: An American Life, it's going to cost you.  There are reports tickets for the event are going for $500.

The former Governor of Alaska will be appearing at the Vancouver Club on October 13th.  And who knows?  Perhaps she'll even talk about her daughter Bristol's chances on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.

Other speakers include former Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf, New York Times Magazine contributor Michael Lewis and author Liz Murray.
