Teitur Thordarson named coach of the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS team

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The Whitecaps will have at least one familiar face on the sidelines when the team makes the jump to Major League Soccer, next year. The team announced today, current Head Coach Teitur Thordarson will stay on as the bench boss for the inaugural MLS season.
Thordarson led the Caps to a league title in 2008 and the finals, last year. The team is currently first in their conference in the United States Soccer Federation's Division 2.
First pick of the MLS amateur draft belongs to the Caps who make the jump to MLS next season, along with the Portland Timbers.
