Sedins separated before game in Nashville

Game day skate lines could change prior to puck drop

NASHVILLE, TN. (NEWS1130) - The Vancouver Canucks will face another of their playoff opponents from last spring's Stanley Cup run when they visit the Nashville Predators tonight to continue their four-game road trip.

Alain Vigneault, obviously unhappy with the offensive production lately especially with the Sedins, juggled the lines dramatically at today's game day skate.  Henrik Sedin was centering Byron Bitz and Mason Raymond while Daniel skated with Ryan Kesler and Alex Burrows.

The Sedins have struggled lately but have played well against Nashville in recent meetings, combining for three goals and six assists in their last two match-ups.  Ryan Kesler is the hottest Canuck lately, scoring in three straight games and in four of his last five games.

Roberto Luongo will get the start in goal while Pekka Rinne will be in net for Nashville.  Rinne has been a major reason for the Predators recent success as they go for their seventh win in their last eight games.

The Canucks have chased the Finnish netminder twice already this season but Rinne has won his last 11 starts pushing the Predators to within just one point of the second place Canucks in the NHL's Western Conference.

Game time is 5 p.m.
