Vander Zalm to update his anti-HST efforts

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Former B.C. Premier Bill Vander Zalm is promising a “major announcement” regarding his efforts to stop the province’s new Harmonized Sales Tax.
Zalm will be joined by organizers of the ‘Fight HST’ campaign for a news conference at 11:00 a.m. outside the B.C. Law Courts in Downtown Vancouver.
Beginning today, the provincial government is also mailing the first of its HST credit cheques to working families. Roughly one out of four British Columbians is eligible to receive them.
