If you want to have a better day, fill up the travel mug.

A study by the Harvard School of Public Health found a few cups of coffee a day can reduce the risk of depression among women.

The story followed more than 50,000 women — average age of 63 for 10 years.

Women who drank two or three cups a day had a 15 per cent reduction in the risk of depression.

Those who drank four cups a day had a 20 per cent lower risk.

The study is in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine.
