Prime Minister in South Korea for Nuclear Summit

By

Prime Minister Stephen Harper continued his Asian tour on Monday with a trip to South Korea for a Nuclear Security Summit.

Harper joins leaders from 60 other countries for the two day summit that is expected to focus on nuclear terrorism and how to secure the world’s nuclear material.

The summit started just as North Korea moved forward with their plan to launch a rocket fired satellite, rolling it on to the launching pad Monday morning.

If launched, it will undermine an agreement that would have seen food aid sent to North Korea in exchange for a partial freeze on nuclear activities.
