Harsh weather worries family of missing man

COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – The weather is about to ugly, with high winds and lots of rain.

That’s why the family of missing Coquitlam man Shin Noh wants more volunteers to search for him Saturday morning.

Sam Noh fears the harsh elements will it make it more difficult for his dad to survive.

“We’ve had tremendous support from the community. People have been searching their neighbourhoods. People have been on Facebook. But we need more volunteers to have a better chance of finding him,” he says.

Noh, 64, has mid-stage Alzheimer’s and was last seen at his home near Lansdowne and Guildford in Coquitlam.

“He’s been missing for ten days.  We’re concerned whether he’s getting food and water. I believe he’s still alive. He’s still roaming the streets right now,” says his son.

Recent tips placed the Noh at Burke Mountain and at Gates Park.

People interested in helping the search can show up at Eagle Ridge Fitness at 2624 St. John Street.
