Remembrance Day ceremonies in the Lower Mainland

LOWER MAINLAND (NEWS1130) – On Monday, November 11th, thousands will pause for a moment of silence at 11 a.m. to remember our fallen soldiers.
Burnaby:
In North Burnaby at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #148 Confederation Park Cenotaph, the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. from Safeway parking lot, 4440 Hastings Street. The ceremony begins at 10:45 a.m.
In South Burnaby at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #83 Bonsor Park Cenotaph at Imperial & Nelson, the parade begins at 10:30 a.m. from Legion #83 on Grimmer Street. That ceremony starts at 10:45 a.m
Coquitlam:
The Remembrance Day service will be at the Veterans Park cenotaph at 9:30 a.m. at Wilson Centre, located at 2150 Wilson Avenue. The cenotaph Remembrance service will be at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park at 2580 Shaughnessy Street.
Ladner:
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61 is organizing the Ladner ceremony, where a parade will proceed from the Legion at 4896 Delta Street to the Cenotaph at Ladner Memorial Park at 10:30 a.m. The parade will be followed by a 10:45 a.m. ceremony at the cenotaph.
Langley:
Langley Legion Branch 21 invites the public the attend the Remembrance Day ceremony and parade. The parade will begin at 10:25 a.m.
Maple Ridge:
The parade will begin at 10:30 a.m. from the Legion Building on 22 Street to the cenotaph in Memorial Peace Park. The official ceremony begins after the parade.
New Westminster:
The ceremonies will be held at 10 a.m. at The Royal Westminster Regiment, Armouries and at Queens Avenue United Church.
North Vancouver:
At the Victoria Park Cenotaph in North Vancouver, the Remembrance Day parade and service at the Victoria Park Cenotaph start at 10:30 a.m.
Port Coquitlam:
Early service at the Wilson Centre at 9:30 a.m. There will then be a parade to the cenotaph at Veteran’s Park in front of city hall for an 11 a.m. ceremony.
Richmond:
A military parade will start marching from Minoru Park towards the City Hall cenotaph at 10:20 a.m. Official ceremonies will begin at 10:40 a.m.
Surrey:
Bring your family to take part in the ceremony at the Cloverdale Cenotaph next door to the Surrey Museum and the Surrey Archives at 9:30 a.m.
Vancouver:
For the third year, Remembrance Day in Vancouver will begin with a brief Generation-to-Generation ceremony and the lighting of the cauldron in Jack Poole Plaza. The program at Victory Square begins with a performance by the Vancouver Bach Youth Choir starting at 10 a.m.
West Vancouver:
There is a Remembrance Day parade and service on Marine Drive at 20th in West Vancouver from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
