Walk planned to mark anniversary of Lindsay Buziak’s death

SAANICH (NEWS1130) – Hundreds of people are expected to turn out today for a memorial walk to remember a murdered woman in Saanich.
Lindsay Buziak was killed six years ago while showing a luxury home in Gordon Head. She was stabbed more than 40 time.
Police have continued to investigate the case, but it remains unsolved.
Buziak’s father Jeff says it’s been very difficult. “The public is frustrated, they realize they have some killers in the community and they want it solved, they want them off the street. How can this happen and no one to be accountable?”
Buziak is offering a $500,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and a conviction. “I don’t know where the investigation stands, they don’t release any information to me or the public. As far as I know they’re still working on it. I have to live with that, whether I like it or not.”
Buziak was only 24 years old when she was killed.
