VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – No one has been arrested after Vancouver recorded its 6th homicide of the year.
The body of 27-year-old Thi Tam Nguyen was found in the basement suite of a home at Rupert and 41st yesterday.
VPD Constable Brian Montague isn’t releasing a lot of details right now. “We don’t have a lot of concern for the general public. This was targeted, this isn’t a random incident. Beyond that I can’t share anything else.”
“The cause of death, that is information that we will keep as holdback evidence. The cause of death, the time of death, they are all things we’re not sharing at this point,” Montague adds.
Richmond RCMP are also looking for the suspect, after what it calls a “related incident” on Bridgeport and Shell shortly after the murder.
