Luka Magnotta trial continues with testimony from Jun Lin’s lover

MONTREAL (NEWS1130) – Jun Lin’s former lover has taken the stand at Luka Rocco Magnotta’s murder trial and says their relationship ended just before his slaying.
Feng Lin says he and Lin were lovers from late 2010 until mid-May 2012.
He told the trial that Jun Lin’s family did not know their son was a homosexual.
Magnotta is charged with first-degree murder in the slaying and dismemberment of Jun Lin.
Feng Lin says Jun Lin ended the relationship because he was facing intense pressure to settle down with a woman and start a family.
The witness testified they remained friends and that he texted Jun Lin up to 50 times a day, with Jun Lin’s last message coming on May 24, 2012, the day friends last saw him.
