Woman dies in Surrey car crash

SURREY (NEWS1130) – A woman has died after a single-car crash at 88th Avenue and Fraser Highway in Surrey.
She went off the road around 6 a.m. in nearly the same spot as a crash involving a Mountie just hours earlier.
It’s unclear what caused the crash. Her identity has not been released.
Traffic on 88 Avenue between Fraser Highway and 156 Street will be closed for some time while the collision is being investigated.
Surrey RCMP are requesting that anyone who may have witnessed the collision is to call them at 604-599-0502.
