VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – If you need a vacation, today may be a good day to search for airline tickets.
Today is considered a “magic flying date” in the industry.
Even though the calendar says otherwise, summer is over according to the airlines, especially the US ones, so they’re beginning to post their bargains for fall and winter.
Rick Seaney is with Fare Compare. “This is mostly for September, October, you know the first few weeks in November, and first few weeks in December travel. Then there’s another deal zone in late January and early February.”
Seaney tells ABC News this is by far the cheapest time of year to fly out of Bellingham or SeaTac to destinations in the US and Europe.
He warns however, to keep in mind you might have trouble finding any bargains for travel in late November around the US Thanksgiving.
