MAPLE RIDGE (NEWS 1130) – Two pedestrians have been rushed to the hospital after they were hit by a car a short time ago at Lougheed Highway and 216th Street in Maple Ridge.
One of the pedestrians is in serious condition.
“We have two ambulances on scene, two fire trucks and a whole bunch of police cars blocking traffic, as well,” said Darren Grieve, flying above the scene in the NEWS 1130 Air Patrol.
Lougheed was closed in the area for a couple of hours. It has since been re-opened.
