Family’s possesions stolen during move to Victoria

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Thieves who stole a U-Haul that a father and daughter were using to move across the country took nearly all of the family’s possessions.
Michael Suiker and his daughter Megan were moving from Saskatoon to Victoria when the truck was stolen in Surrey Tuesday night.
The truck was found in an Abbotsford parking lot Friday, but the lock all of the vehicle had been broken and only three boxes containing photos and some urns were left inside.
Abbotsford police are searching the truck for fingerprints and an online fundraising campaign has been started to help the family rebuild.
