VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Police have interviewed three men seen taking pictures at Pacific Centre Mall, whose images were shared online by a number of media outlets.

After that conversation, police have determined their actions were logical and there is no threat to the public.

The images of these three men circulated online after an internal police bulletin was leaked to an online news outlet. “That information, including photographs was obtained by a Vancouver news outlet via an unknown source and was not intended or authorized to be shared with the general public at this time,” says VPD Chief Adam Palmer.

The information was part of an internal police bulletin circulated amongst police officers throughout the province of BC.

All three men cooperated with police and they had a very logical explanation regarding their behaviour. The investigation determined that their actions were completely innocent.
