American expats react to the Super Tuesday results

WASHINGTON DC – American expats seem to be pleased with the results from Super Tuesday.

The Chairman of Republicans Overseas Canada, Mark Feigenbaum, says it’s interesting his party is solidifying around Donald Trump.

“Ted Cruz did very well in three states as well, so it’s not over yet, but it is much harder for the other candidates now.”

He says Cruz and Marco Rubio have a lot of work to do if they want to beat Donald Trump.

“It’s interesting that the party seems to be solidifying towards this candidate. You can see that some of the numbers he won by were quite large in some of the states.”

Giles Hogya is the Chair of Democrats Abroad Canada and hopes the Republican Party nominates Trump.

“It’s totally amazing to me. I mean, each day there just an amazement of idiocy. So, whoever they eventually put up I have no doubt in my mind that the Democrats will be successful.”

Hogya says the rise of Trump has brought more supporters to their side.

“Everytime Donald Trump opens his mouth American-Canadians leap off their couch, run to their computer and join Democrats Abroad.”

Hogya says delegates from his organization will be voting in their own primary this week and the result will be announced on the 13th.
