WHITEHORSE, YK. (NEWS 1130) – The royal couple landed in Yukon last night and will spend the day in Whitehorse.
The pair will visit the MacBride Museum of Yukon History, where they’ll meet children who are involved with an indigenous language program and take part in a storytelling activity.

They will also view a healing totem, meet a young carver and check out a local youth art festival.
Prince William and Catherine’s second stop in Yukon takes them to Carcross, where First Nations elders will welcome them. They are also going to spend some time touring the area before travelling to Montana Mountain to attend a mountain bike festival. They return to Victoria later today.
Yesterday was just as busy for the pair. The couple were in the Okanagan where they met with some celebrity chefs from BC, had a private wine tasting at a local vineyard and visited the UBC campus in Kelowna where they took in a volleyball match.
