VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – TransLink is re-jigging a number of routes beginning today in preparation of the Evergreen Line going into operation a little later this year.
Vivienne King with BC Rapid Transit Company explains the Expo Line will have two branches: one that will go from Waterfront to King George like it does now, and another that goes to Production Way in Burnaby.
“We want to be able to make your exchange from the Expo Line to the new Millennium Line as easy as possible. So by going to Production Way, you’ll be able to change on the platform.”
The Millennium Line will no longer go to Waterfront Station — it’ll instead go between VCC-Clark in Vancouver and Lougheed Town Centre in Burnaby.
King says you’ll notice extra staff along the system — they’ll be kept out for several days.
