Deadly crash in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – One man has died after a serious crash in Abbotsford this morning.
Officers were called out to the area of Olund and Harris Roads after receiving reports of a crash involving a Honda Civic and a GMC pick-up truck with trailer. The APD says three occupants of the truck were not hurt but the driver, who was the lone occupant of the Honda, was seriously injured and trapped inside the car when crews got there. Despite their efforts, the man died at the scene.
APD Patrol Division officers and collision reconstructionists are handling the investigation. Traffic in the area is being diverted for the next several hours.
