One man in custody after Abbotsford shooting

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – One arrest has been made, and one man has been taken to hospital after a shooting in Abbotsford last night.
It was just before 11 p.m. when Abbotsford police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound at a home on Hawthorne Avenue near Jackson Street – this was after there were witness reports of a possible car crash, and an argument.
Police say that one vehicle left the area with some significant damage and the driver of that vehicle has since been arrested.
Investigators don’t have too much yet on why this happened, but they have ruled out the possibility of this being gang-related.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
