Four arrested, one still at large, after mid-level drug bust in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Thousands of dosages of illicit drugs have been seized and five people have been charged after a six-month investigation by Surrey RCMP.

Mounties say they launched an investigation into a criminal network profiting from the opioid crisis and preying on vulnerable people in Surrey, including some living on 135A St.

Over the course of the investigation, 30,000 doses of cocaine and almost 4,800 doses of heroin/fentanyl were seized, as well as body armour, a stolen vehicle, cash and stolen identity cards.

Corporal Scotty Schumann says firearms were also seized.

“We can attribute the drug trade and weapons like these to the violence that’s occurring across the Lower Mainland. However, we haven’t been able to directly tie any of these items here to a specific shooting incident.”

Police are calling this a mid-level seizure that will slow the flow of drugs in the community, but probably only in the short-term.

Four people have been arrested and charged:

  • 34-year-old Bradley Thomas Antrobus, from Surrey, has been charged with two counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking, and six firearms related offences.
  • 28-year-old Wyatt Kyle Costain, from Surrey, has now been charged with six counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking.
  • 35-year-old Trevor Desjarlais, from Surrey, has been charged with 11 counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking, and seven firearms related offences.
  • 22-year-old Reanna Grace Kolakovic, from Surrey, has been charged with five counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking.

The Surrey RCMP is appealing for public assistance finding one man who is wanted on a warrant. 28-year-old Dominic Graham Robert Lastoria is still on the run and has been charged with 11 counts of Possession for Purpose of Trafficking.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Lastoria is being asked to contact the Surrey RCMP.
