Police investigate shots fired in East Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Investigators are trying to figure out who fired a number of shots at an East Vancouver home Tuesday night.

Police responded to the area of East 22nd Avenue and Rupert Street just after 11:30 p.m., after receiving 911 calls reporting multiple gunshots being heard.

VPD officers was unable to confirm the reports when they were at the scene last night, but say evidence gathered today confirms shots had been fired.

No arrests have been made, and it doesn’t look like anyone was hurt.

A home in the area of Grandview Highway and Rupert Street appears to have been targeted.
