RCMP identify Richmond homicide victim

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – The victim of the latest homicide in Richmond has been identified as a 41-year-old man.
Joseph Lucien De Carvalho was shot early yesterday morning. Officers were called to Bridge Street near Blundell Road around 3 a.m. De Carvalho died at the scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the case. Police believe this was a targeted attack.
De Carvalho was known to police, but investigators do not believe this homicide is linked to any other acts of violence in the region.
