Allan Schoenborn still has anger management issues: psychiatrist

By

COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – A man who murdered his children in Merritt nearly ten years ago won’t likely be granted escorted day passes from a psychiatric hospital within the next year.

Allan Schoenborn’s main therapist, Doctor Marcel Hediger, says he still has anger management issues.

During today’s BC Review Board hearing in Port Coquitlam, the psychiatrist testified Schoenborn is still having outbursts, but they’re not as frequent or intense.

In April of 2008, Schoenborn killed his 10-year-old daughter Kaitlynne, eight-year-old son Max and five-year-old son Cordon.

He was eventually convicted of first degree murder and later found not criminally responsible because he’s mentally ill.
