Statement from the Jeglum-Woycheshen family

I am speaking to you today on behalf of Laura’s mom and dad and her three siblings. For nearly five months we have been waiting for more information or any answers about what happened. To finally get the news that arrests have been made has been a relief but doesn’t make the loss of Laura any easier for our family.

We want to thank all of the members of Ridge Meadows RCMP for the hard work and dedication that has brought us to this point.

We also want to extend our thanks to anyone that came forward as a witness or stayed at the scene that night. None of this goes unnoticed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, because without all of you, we wouldn’t be where we are today.
