Man credits young teen for returning lost wallet in Langley

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) – More proof doing a good deed pays off.

A local man is sharing his story about the loss and return of his wallet south of the Fraser River.

Jason Alexander took to Facebook to post his experience and about the awesome kid, whose name is Jacob T., who not only returned his possession but refused a reward.

Alexander says he lost his wallet, which he says contained $170 and all of his ID.

“And mid meltdown I get a phone call. He found it on the ground at Langley Centre and called me to give it back. Then when I practically begged him to take my money he refused to accept it. So I asked if I could at the very least take a picture with him so I could share the face of my hero. You sir are truly amazing!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart bud. You have no idea how much I appreciate you!!!”

Anderson is asking people to share his story so everyone “knows what real MVPs look like.”
