VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A targeted attack has left a man, who is believed to be in his 30s, recovering in the hospital from serious stab wounds.
Vancouver Police say there was a fight at about 11 a.m. on Saturday in the south lane of W. Hastings and Abbott Streets. The man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
“Although it is very early in the investigation and no arrests have been made, detectives from the VPD Major Crime Section do not believe this stabbing was random. There is no risk to the general public,” says VPD Constable Jason Doucette.
