In today’s episode of Rogers’ “The Big Story” podcast, Chatelaine columnist Rachel Giese talks about the White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, being asked to leave a Virginia restaurant.
“No one is saying that Sarah Huckabee Sanders was embarrassed or humiliated. She has chosen to make a big deal about it,” says Giese.
“‘Should Sarah Huckabee Sanders be entitled to eat a meal in peace with her family?’ I’d say that I’m not as interested in that question as I am in ‘Should children be separated from their parents at the border and put into a system that does not have enough beds or caregivers to look after them.”
