Man arrested in Fraser Valley in connection with Victoria homicide

MAPLE RIDGE (NEWS 1130) – A man accused in the stabbing death of a fellow Victoria man is now in custody after he was picked up on the Lower Mainland.
Members of the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit arrested 26-year-old Daniel Creagh Sunday morning after he was released from custody on an unrelated matter.
Crown has approved one charge of second degree murder in the death of Joseph Gauthier.
A GoFundMe page was set up in the spring to help Gauthier’s family cover the costs of a celebration of life.
