VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – After a short break, another heat warning has been issued for Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.
But NEWS 1130 Meteorologist Russ Lacate says this one won’t last very long.
“This early-August heat wave is going to last for three days,” he explains.
“The mercury reaches the low 30s away from the coast this afternoon. I think Wednesday’s the hottest — a high between 28 and 34 degrees. Thursday is the last scorcher in this series, and then showers and thunderstorms cool things down later Friday.”
Russ says it’ll be hot, but not necessarily hazy.
“There are no air quality advisories in effect,” he notes.
