Man in custody following Surrey bomb threat

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Mounties in Surrey have one man in custody and could be facing charges after a reported bomb threat at a local business this evening.

Shortly before 6 p.m., Surrey RCMP were called to the scene at King George Boulevard and 96 Ave.

Officers won’t say if the threat was called in or if a package was delivered, but they do say they went into the business and found the suspect.

The 43-year-old was arrested without incident and RCMP say “numerous” charges are pending.
