Bowen Island beer recall over defective cans

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The BC Liquor Distribution Branch and Northam Beverages are recalling two Bowen Island Brewing products over improperly seamed beer cans. The affected beers are the Artisan IPA (Lot numbers L18207, L18187, L18215) and the West Coast Lager (Lot number L18207). The lot number is printed on the bottom of each can.
In a Monday release, they say some cans are not seamed properly and could have sharp metal sticking out from the rim. Customers are to return the recalled cans to the place of purchase.
